Commercial Marketing Manager

We are a global manufacturer of safety personal protective equipment, warning detectable tiles, and tools/machinery with a presence in Canada, the US, and EMEA. We are headquartered in Coquitlam, British Columbia Canada and Elgin, Illinois, USA. With 13 successful brands under the our umbrella, we are excited to continue to define brand strategy and penetrate our respective markets. 

We are looking for a talented, innovative, and motivated Marketing professional who will be  responsible for developing, executing, and delivering on the strategic marketing plans to meet the commercial business needs and support maximizing revenues.

The position can be based in Canada or the US with a preference for the Guelph/Mississauga region; Chicago and New York.

The position can be home-based with an expectation of spending time in a  company office location when required.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Development and implementation of marketing programs to consumer-facing distribution channels
  • Support Sales Management in the engagement and growth of distributors and end users
  • Development and implementation of marketing programs to increase demand generation at the end-user level
  • Assist in the development of an end-user influencer program
  • Assist Sales Management in organizing and segmenting end-user leads for engagement purposes
  • Build-out of sales training materials
  • Manage and execute an annual promotional calendar for all brands, working cross-functionally with Sales, e-Commerce, Supply Chain, and Product Management 
  • Engage with Brand Marketing, Sales, and Product Management to coordinate product launches
  • Manage requests for sales and end-user training opportunities (Net Plus, AD, MSC, Regional) - to be moved to digital eventually
  • Assist Marketing Director in trade show management and execution
  • Marketing Director in managing expense budgets and other expenditures, while meeting/exceeding sales targets 
  • Build out and socialize the our company  service/value-add program
  • Assist the Manage requests for sales and end-user training opportunities (Net Plus, AD, MSC, Regional) - to be moved to digital eventually

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years sales or marketing experience working within the Industrial Manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with the following software and programs: Salesforce, and/or other CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and Constant Contact or Mailchimp.
  • Experience working with Marketing and Ad agencies.
  • Strong data management and analytical capabilities with tools such as Excel, Tableau, and various other tools. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
