CNC MACHINIST / OPERATOR

CNC MACHINIST/OPERATOR:

We have an immediate need for an experienced CNC machinist/operator. Key functions of your role will be to set up and run jobs on CNC machining centers, CNC lathes and CNC horizontal boring mills, with a strong focus on quality and keeping the level of work consistent.

We are currently running Doosan and Haas systems. Experience running manual lathes highly preferred, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Set up machines correctly in a timely manner
• Independently operate CNC machines following the guidelines of our production programmer
• Ensure quality production at all times in addition to proper operation of machines
• Maintain traceability on all jobs
• Ensure quality and quantity standards are met on a daily/consistent basis
• Keep work area clean and organized at all times
• Perform all daily maintenance on equipment
• Always comply with safety protocol
• Comply with policies related to quality of work at all times

Required Experience/Skills

• 3+ years of experience operating CNC mills, lathes, and boring mills.
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Ability to use measuring tools such as dial calipers, O.D and I.D. micrometers, bore gauges.
• Ability to set up and run jobs on CNC machines
• Ability to setup multiple jobs on multiple machines
