We are currently seeking a "HYDRO PERSON" who is an Electrical Engineer in support of our clients and sales team to join our team as a Technical Lead. The ideal candidate will be socially conscious, and an environmental advocate, with a deep interest of the ins and outs of hydro sites.

In this position, you will:

• Provide strategic and tactical technical sales support
• Oversee automation of patented control and communications capability
• Maintain up to date knowledge of industry news and trends
• Lead and coach a team of high-performing engineers
• Oversee product transfer from development to manufacturing
• Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
• Travel 5-10% for conferences, meetings, and site visits

Ideally, we are looking for applicants:

• MS / BS in Engineering (or equivalent); MBA or PHD is an asset
• Minimum 3 years experience in Systems Design
• Prior hydro experience; strong knowledge of sites, hydraulic circumstances, etc.
• Strong understanding of systems, communication, and controls engineering
• Prior experience with software and firmware design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, customer service-oriented, problem-solver
• Strong organization skills
