Bookkeeper/ Accountant - Contract 18 months

Full Job Description


Bookkeeper/ Accountant required for  an 18-month contract  for our Mississauga office located at Tomken and Eglinton.

You will be doing the complete bookkeeping and accounting for 3 companies including:


  • Invoicing
  • Receivables
  • Payables
  • Commission calculations
  • Payroll through Payworks
  • Source deductions
  • HST
  • Manage benefits
  • Journal Entries
  • Bank recs
  • Full monthly financial statements
  • Monthly management reports and briefings
  • Quarterly and annual financial statements for accountants for Audit
  • Office Management
  • Office Supplies
  • Contract management


We use QuickBooks Online and Excel. You must be proficient in both.

We are NOT able to train, you must know them.


This is a Full-Time role 5 days a week from Monday to Friday. This can be a hybrid role where you work 3 days in office and 2 from home. This is an 18-month contract position that may be extended.


You must own this position, there is no one else. You are the Bookkeeper/Accountant.


You must:

  • Speak clear fluent English as you are talking to clients
  • Have at least 3 years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
  • Be very proficient with Quickbooks Online
  • Strong with Excel
  • Accurate
  • Detailed Oriented
  • Strong Fast computer skills
  • Ultra reliable
  • Able to maintain confidential information
  • Ability to deal with the bank, vendors, and clients
  • Able to perform collection functions diplomatically
  • A good multi-tasker. This is a very busy position.
